Properties

• Very useful in chronic bed-ridden patients and children.

• Safe for all age groups in all types of productive and non-productive cough.

• No drowsiness

Indications

• URT infections-asociated with bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, asthma, t,b, & post-influenza cough.

• Topical eosinophilia & all allergic cough (chronic)

• Minimise symptoms of common cold, sore throat, rhinitis laryngitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusities etc.

• Chronic respiratory and allied disease (C.R.D.).

• In children : cough due to URTI, asthma, bronchitis, allergic bronchitis, child hood t.b., whooping cough.

Dosage :

• Adult : two teaspoonful twice a day

• Children : one teaspoonful twice a day

• Respid available at all chemists in packs of 100ml & 200ml packs.
